How did life evolve on earth?
On early Earth, it was very dangerous for any type of life to stay there. There were lots of violent explosions happening every second, also no oxygen. Spontaneous generation is the belief that living things came from nonliving things, Miller and Urey are two scientists that tried to figure out how life began. They made a conducted a chemical experiment to stimulate early earth's conditions.
Early life conditions
The early life theory says that ...... Endosymbiosis explains the origin of eukaryrotic cells from prokaryotes. The theory says that live was made from other cells.
Charles Darwin and Natural Selection
Natural selection is known as "Survival of the fittest" or whoever survives and reproduces. Survival of the fittest means whoever can adapt the best will survive. Charles Darwin is known as the "father of evolution". He came up with the theory of Natural Selection.
Evolution is how life changes over time, due to mutations and adaptations. The three evidences of evolution are Fossils, Anatmotical, and biochemical evidence. Fossil evidence shows how the species have changed over time. Anatmotical evidence shows DNA similarities between species, and the biochemical evidence shows how the ancestors are the same
Immunity and resistance
The important cells of the immune system are B-cells, memory b-cells, t-cells. active immunity is when you get the disease, or are given the vaccine. passive immunity is when you get the disease from another person. the only population still living is the one immune to the pesticide,
Phylogenic Tree
A phylogenic tree shows the relationships between different species. The ancestor is at the bottom. The closer they are, they more related they are. They farther away they are, the less related they are.
Dichotomous Keys
A dichotomous key is a tool that helps scientists determine the identity of organisms. To use a dichotomous key, you have to answer different questions about the organism to match it up.
